About
Abby Sherlock grew up in South Carolina before attending the University of California, San Diego, and earning her Master’s in Game Design from the University of Southern California. Now an internationally recognized (thank you, England!) games maker, producer, and on-camera host, titles she has developed have been featured on the front page of Twitch.
She began her career in marketing, events, influencers, and social media at Wizards of the Coast, Geek & Sundry, and Nerdist, later serving as a Community Coordinator for Blizzard Entertainment’s collegiate organization, Tespa, before transitioning into more production-based roles. Other notable highlights include interviewing pro players from CLG Red, being one of the youngest speakers at GDC, and mentoring the next generation of creatives through Girls Make Games.
A Forbes 30 under 30 honoree, Abby has seen the gaming industry from multiple perspectives. As Game Director, her title Heirloom (2020) swept the festival circuit—winning Favorite Game Developed by a Female Team at the Women in Games Global Awards and being shortlisted for both the New Media Writing Prize and Games for Change. As an actor, she was most featured in the BAFTA-nominated VR game Blocks.
As of 2025, she brings her 7+ years of experience as a Game Producer at Riot Games while continuing to host, act, write, and direct side projects whenever she can.
